There is a balcony off the lounge and a superb roof terrace for sunbathing. A great place to relax or explore the area from.
Five minutes walk from our home is a large modern supermarket, there are also many bars and restaurants to choose from, there is something for everyone, no matter what your taste. There are many beaches in our area but the nearest is Punta Prima beach and sea front, which is just a 7 minute walk away. Here there is a lovely sandy beach and even a small bars for refreshment or the famous Nautilus Bar/Restaurant.
If you like a round of golf then there are 3 championship golf courses within 15 minutes drive, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and Villamartin. The new Zenia Boulevard is a large commercial centre, biggest in Valencia region boasting all major outlets , restaurants and bars with much entertainment daily. Just a 20 minute walk away is the massive Playa Flamenca Saturday market. We are approximately 45min from Alicante Airport & 25min from Murcia airport. Torrevieja is surrounded by two large and beautiful natural salt water lakes which form the Salinas de Torrevieja and are an official Spanish nature reserve. These lakes attract a wide variety of bird life. The city of Torrevieja which gets its name from an old tower (old=vieja ; tower=torre), was first mentioned around 1800. It became famous in 1802, when it took over the salt administration from Orihuela. Apart from the salt industry, tourism and fishing keep the city alive. The harbour gives home to 300 fishing ships and over 900 private sports boats. A wonderful view especially when the sun sets. It also boasts many multi-cuisine restaurants, large shopping centre, cinema and beautiful beaches with many water sports and a very busy and popular Friday Market.
